Examples of those:

• conferences
• courses,
• traveling
• medicine

Make a site with a non-tech-savvy audience, for example:

• doctors
• construction workers
• drivers
• dentists
• engineers
• teachers

and so on..

Examples of niches that pays a lot but won’t generate you anything due to low CTR may be:

• how to make money online
• web masters
• seo

Never be greedy when you create content for a site. The site will only be worthwhile if you do some really useful content.
Another tips is to don’t really care much about competition. Sure, you will have to work harder if you enter a saturated market, but usually it pays off.

The project I’m working on is about search engine optimization and internet marketing. It’s a portal with a forum, guide & blog section, link directory and more to come. The purpose is to learn other people how to make money on the internet by using smart SEO techniques. It’s not a make-money-online site, more like a manual to search engine optimization. Basically it is a SEO guide.

Here is a list of reasons why you shouldn’t pick a niche just because it is high paying:

• High paying niches usually requires high quality content which is hard to produce if you’re not interested in the subject.
• Links are really hard to get, wherever you try building links, it is either paid membership of forums or sign up to post a comment. It’s also very serious kind of moderation on those places.
• Ranking in Google is tough, honestly, I’ve at least 50 relevant links and I’m not even near where I wanna be in SERPs. If the niche is lucrative (high paying), then you can be certain that these folks ranking on top surely paid a lot of money for seo services.
• Boring. Slow results.

So my advice is, pick something you’re really interested in! The good side to it is that ads are paying really well.

PS. I know this wasn’t a good niche about the time when I picked it, it was more of a experiment to me.

It might be social problems, drug problems, health issues, computer errors etc. An ad will be more appealing if it claims to have a solution for whatever problem your visitor have.

I’ve had Kontera installed on a site about the game Tibia for 2-3 months now..  revenue it gave equals a soda. The stats are following:

12,241 impressions, 208 clicks, $1.53, CTR 2%

I’m aware of how much it may differ between niches, but this is really, really bad.

What’s your experience with Kontera? Maybe you did better than I.

This is how I do it:

1. Research: Google > “YourNiche Forum” > Make a list of, lets say, 20 forums. You can also take a look for your specific niche in forum directories.
2. Sort out the forums after doFollow or noFollow. (How-To: Find out noFollow and doFollow links).
3. Create a “template” containing email, name, signature and everything you need so you don’t have to re-type.
4. Open a bunch of forums at the same time and signup to them.
5. Start contributing with useful posts. If possible, introduce yourself, don’t include a link.
6. After a week when you feel the community has gained trust and respect for you – then you should add your link.

You will get links that last this way, instead of wasting your time with spamming.

The forums that are doFollow are of greater importance as they will help your position in search engines. There of, you should be more careful with those. Here are just a few things you should have in mind when building links with forum posting:

• Before adding a link to your site, make sure you have contributed to the forum; 5-10 posts. If you just add a link right away, it smells spam from far.
• If you’re going to include a link in your post, write a really long and good post that’s actually fully relevant to the thread starter’s discussion.
• Figure out a catchy forum name that contains one of your keywords.
• If the board is noFollow, don’t bother to put your keywords in the anchor text. Promote your brand instead.

Go to this privacy policy generator. Choose settings that agrees with your site and generate a privacy policy. Copy the privacy policy into a new page on your website and put a link somewhere where it is not too visible, but not too hard to find either for the one who’s really looking.

Moreover, these markets are usually way too over-saturated and the top-notch websites are owners representing the very best of the SEO league which makes it extremely hard to rank on the desired keywords. If you’re going after high paying keywords, you must have an idea that none has been fully applying before – undiscovered markets among webmasters and internet markets. Also remember, high paying niches requires high quality content.

Remember though, low paying niches doesn’t necessarily mean it’s low competition. How to find a good niche then? Well, that is called keyword / niche- research which I’m going to write more about in details later.

Example site: 89 suceeded but pending, 15 failed and where of 36 got listed after waiting 7 days – a total of 150 submissions. It took me around 15 minutes to set up campaigns and add the links. That’s not bad for 36 backlinks, at least 25 of them doFollow.

This is nothing practical, just some motivation. Alright, so someone asked me if Adsense is profitable. The message of this post will be the answer I gave him:

It’s not easy. Starting an Adsense business that you perceive as profitable is actually “quite” hard
To put this simple. You just don’t make a lot of money with easy methods. No matter what business you’re in, and you know what, Adsense is no different.
If it was easy and fun, every single human being on the earth with a computer and internet connection would have been doing it.
The first month was making me just a few cents. Next month made me a dollar. At the third month, I started to understand that I need a lot of traffic if I’m going to make get rich this way, so I created a lot of sites in a short amount of time and promoted them quickly. This month, I made around $5.
It was not before the sixth month when I finally understood what Adsense really was. Building quality sites that people find useful – It requires more time, but in return it gives better results as well. A few months later, I had a steady income of $100 monthly. Nothing to brag about, but a good start.

Experience will get you far. In my opinion, the Adsense game is not for everyone. It is for people who actually enjoy making money online & have the dedication to slave away at their sites for years. But it works!
